  1. What does Being Beautiful mean to you?
Beautiful means you feel comfortable in your own skin and you own it. Beautiful also means that you are good to others.
  2. What is your beauty routine?
I try to work out and drink lots of water.
Once a week, I put a hair and facemask on to take out any impurities in my hair and skin. The bonus to that is I get to squeeze in some “me time”.
I also use a primer before I put on any makeup. A professional makeup artist let me in on a big secret which is to let the primer do it’s job so I give it about 3 to 5 minutes to sink into my skin before applying makeup.
I use Korres products on my face and under my eyes. I love the results these products have given me thus far. Everyone is asking about my skin lately and I attribute it to this brand.
  3. What makeup product can’t you live without?
It’s hard to pick one so I will have to pick two: IT Cosmetics lipsticks and IT Cosmetics Build-a-Brow. These are staples in my makeup bag. Ladies, do not go anywhere else if you have thin, almost zero brows like me.
  4. How does makeup make you feel?
Words that come to mind immediately are: pretty, goddess, put together.
If I add on lashes, then I feel like I am a movie star and take tons of selfies and post to Social Media. Getting dolled up makes me feel great because I am often with my kids at their school during the day when I am not working.
  5. What is your go to makeup look?
I want people to notice that I spent time getting myself ready in the morning so that includes the whole look from hair, makeup and clothing. So my everyday makeup look is a full face of makeup; everything from brows to full coverage makeup to hide my red spots and full lined eyebrows.
  6. If you are going to an event, how does your makeup look change?
I deepen the eye makeup, do a winged tip of eyeliner and add false lashes. The false lashes give you the extra oomph in face-to-face conversations. I also use a non-drying all day lip stain that I adore and always use that for events, which means I can eat, drink and be merry all while having colour on my lips. As a redhead, if I do not have colour on my lips, I look pale.
  7. Any Beauty Tips you want to share?
Exfoliate. Be happy. Whatever is not working, get rid of it.
Toss out makeup you have not used in a year.
Try every type of mascara out there because it’s fun to do.
Share tips with your girlfriends and help them out.
  8. What is your favorite beauty tool?
My must have beauty tool is the IT Cosmetics Foundation in Fair/Medium. This product gives you full coverage and makes getting ready in the morning fast and easy. Since I get oily in the T-zone area, my go-to item is the Bye Bye Pores Finishing Powder. One can never have enough of this on hand because it can set your makeup; even bake under the eyes if you want but it will remove all shine and makes those pores disappear like magic.
  9. Who is your beauty role model?
Denise Wade from The Shopping Channel. She is gorgeous inside and out. She is a wonderful person to work with but also to chat and hang out with because she shares ALL her beautifying tips.
  10. Is it important to you to use makeup with skincare benefits?
Since we live in a technology age, I say a definite yes. Why not?!?!
  11. Is it important to you to use cruelty free products?
As much as possible. I was never much aware of this until working at The Shopping Channel. Overall, I prefer synthetic brushes and as cruelty free as possible products. IT Cosmetics is so good about this. Check them out.
  12. What did you enjoy about working with StyledLady4Ever?
I truly enjoy her motto, which is to “be beautiful”. When I see her sign off with those words, it reminds me to take time for myself and whip up a new hairstyle or try something different on my eyes that day. I draw on her talent that I see in pictures and videos online and try to add in something new to my routine. Being beautiful is a way of life so thank you Jewels!
